Who we are

Emilee has spent the last 17 years championing the success of children with special abilities and needs. Her path—rooted in volunteer work, formal training, and extensive professional experience—intersects deeply with her own story as a student and adult with a learning disability. This blend of personal insight and professional commitment has shaped her into a passionate advocate for students and their families. She has influenced learning environments ranging from individual classrooms to multi‑school clusters within the second‑largest school district in the country. Emilee continues to see herself as a learner, teacher, and advocate, and she is driven to find a role where she can expand her impact and contribute to meaningful change on a larger scale.

Bridge & Bloom by Emilee provides consulting to Parents and Educators of young children, 3-6 years old. Within the area of Early Intervention Supports our mission is to empower families and educators with the tools to translate challenging behaviours into positive expectations through strength-based communication , deepening  the trust and connection between children and the adults who support them

A world where every child is seen as capable, valued, and supported through language and positive behaviour outcomes that honours their strengths and not their limitations.
